How to connect your phone to the Bluetooth speaker.

Music plays through a Bluetooth speaker. Connect your phone and play whatever you like.

🔵 Connecting your phone

  1. Switch the speaker on (power button).
  2. Press the Bluetooth button. The speaker replies with a sound or a blinking blue light.
  3. On your phone, open Settings → Bluetooth.
  4. Pick our speaker from the list, SPK5230. No password needed.
  5. Play music as usual, and it’ll come through the speaker.

Next time, if the speaker is on, your phone will usually reconnect by itself.

🔇 If there’s no sound

  • Check the volume on your phone is up (it’s separate from the speaker’s volume).
  • Check your phone isn’t connected to another device (headphones, TV).
  • If someone else is already connected, they have to disconnect first. Only one phone can play at a time.
  • If it gets stuck: switch the speaker off and on again.

🔋 Charging

If the speaker blinks red or switches off, plug it into the charger. It still plays while charging.

🎶 Music is fine all night since we have no neighbours nearby.
