Coffee machine
Nescafé Dolce Gusto: capsules, brewing and small fixes.
The kitchen has a Nescafé Dolce Gusto capsule machine. Capsules are set out next to it.
▶️ Making coffee
- Fill the water tank and click it back into place.
- Switch the machine on and wait for the light to stop blinking (a few seconds).
- Lift the lever, insert a capsule, close the lever.
- Put your cup underneath and push the slider: left for hot, right for cold drinks.
- Return the slider to the middle when the cup is full. The scale on the capsule shows the recommended amount of water.
For milk capsules (cappuccino, latte): milk first, then coffee.
🔧 If no coffee comes out
- Check the water tank is seated properly (it has to click).
- Remove the capsule and run one cup of plain hot water through to flush it. ⚠️ The water is hot.
- Then insert the capsule again.
🧽 After use
Throw the used capsule away and wipe the drip tray if needed. If you see a red or blinking light you can’t clear, message us. No need to fight with it.
